Private Commission Process
Commissioning a custom bondage bed or restraint bed
Start by explaining the room, your preferred design and whether you want removable, concealed or visible restraint hardware. We compare appropriate models and options in a private conversation.
Your custom BDSM furniture commission proceeds only after the final configuration, written quotation, delivery requirements and fabrication terms are reviewed and approved.
From first conversation to written build approval
Design approach
Begin with a private consultation about the model, intended room, desired finish and practical requirements. A proposed configuration, final quotation and build agreement are reviewed before fabrication starts.
Freight, installation, options, taxes, production timing and availability depend on the approved commission and are confirmed individually.
Steps in a private commission
- First conversation: discuss model, room dimensions, aesthetics and intended use.
- Design and scope: evaluate finishes, hardware, access and installation considerations.
- Written quotation: confirm approved specifications, costs and an available schedule before fabrication.
- Fabrication and delivery: follow the individual agreement and confirmed logistics.
Commissioning, finishes and fit
Velvet & Steel commissions are individually configured rather than stocked for immediate shipping. Model size, finish, upholstery, companion furniture, and available options are discussed before a final build specification and quotation are agreed. Published design concepts communicate intent and may change during engineering and written design approval.
The collection emphasizes a substantial welded steel foundation and a furniture-first experience. Installation access, freight, delivery location and requested timing are evaluated individually. No price, availability or production start is confirmed by this page.
How to proceed
Review the designs and describe your intended room and preferred configuration. The owner-led private consultation is used to determine practical fit and next steps before committing to fabrication.
